The Aston Martin DB7 is a British sports car produced by Aston Martin between 1994 and 2004. It played a major role in reviving the brand during the 1990s and became one of the company’s most successful models. The DB7 was designed by British designer Ian Callum. The car featured elegant lines, a long hood, and the classic Aston Martin grille, giving it a timeless grand-touring appearance. It was available as both a coupe and a convertible, the latter called the DB7 Volante. Early versions of the DB7 used a 3.2-liter supercharged inline-six engine, producing about 335 horsepower. In 1999, Aston Martin introduced the more powerful DB7 V12 Vantage, which had a 5.9-liter V12 engine producing around 420 horsepower. Inside, the DB7 offered a luxurious interior with hand-stitched leather, wood trim, and refined craftsmanship, emphasizing comfort as well as performance. More than 7,000 DB7s were produced, making it the most successful Aston Martin model up to that time. Today it is regarded as a modern classic that helped restore Aston Martin’s reputation in the global sports-car market.
